Judy and I were married in 1974 and are now retired from our careers and living in Takanini, New Zealand. We purchased our first caravan about ten years ago and our present one in 2015. We joined the South Auckland Caravan Club about three years ago and have been active with them ever since going to many different places. We had been planning this trip to the South Island for a couple of years and December 2018 fitted in well with our busy lifestyle. This blog is so we can inform our families and friends of our adventures and hopefully take them along with us in their minds.
